Job summary

Villa Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, CA seeks a caring Driver to transport residents to routed stops, assist during boarding and disembarking, and keep vehicles clean and safe.

You will help support in-house activities, arrange furniture and setup for programs, and uphold resident wellbeing by reporting any abuse or neglect; you are a positive representative of the community.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• CDL endorsement is preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull and lift in excess of 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver residents to routed stops; assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities and program setup.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect; reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.
