Job summary

The Waterford at Ironbridge in Springfield, MO is seeking a dedicated driver to transport residents to routed stops and assist them in and out of vehicles. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and compassionate service within a premier retirement community.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, occasional activity support, and reporting any concerns to leadership. CDL endorsement is preferred, with attention to residents’ well-being during all transportation tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CDL endorsement preferred.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER for tasks up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver residents to routed stops and assist them in/out of vehicles.
• Operate vehicles safely and cleanly.
• Assist Activity Director with in-house activities and setup for programs.
• Ensure residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect; report concerns to the Executive Director.
• Be a positive representative of the community at all times.

Driver Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver\'s license. CDL endorsement required.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
