Job summary

Georgetowne Place, a Sonida Senior Living community in Fort Wayne, IN, seeks a dependable Driver to transport residents to routes and activities with safety and compassion. You will assist residents in boarding and exiting vehicles, maintain clean driving records, and support in-house activity setups.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license; CDL endorsement preferred where required.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and exert effort to lift in excess of 50 lbs as needed.
• Safe and courteous driving with residents to and from routes and activities.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver residents to routed stops; assist residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operate vehicles safely and cleanly at all times.
• Assist Activity Director with in-house activities: planning, organizing, decorating, and setting up activity programs.
• Ensure residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect; report any to the Executive Director.
• Act as a positive representative of the community.
