Job summary

RelaDyne is hiring a CDL Driver (Class A or B) for plant services. The role involves loading/unloading, plant work, and driving duties with overtime, sign-on bonuses, and performance bonuses. Candidates must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a valid CDL, a DOT Medical Card, and a safe driving history.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 23.
• Valid class A or B CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
• At least one year of experience hauling liquid bulk in a tanker trailer or bobtail.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, and travel out of town.
• May be subject to drug testing requirements.
• Safe driving record.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with all safety and operational policies.
• Load and unload products at customer locations professionally and safely.
• Plant work: filling generators, cranes, etc., within the plant and fueling operations.
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operate pumps and valves for loading/unloading.
• Cross train on bobtail and transport.
• Use onboard technology (Smartlogix, Samsara).
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Comply with accident/incident reporting procedures.

What You'll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Properly load and unload products at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Dedicated plant work, filling generators, cranes, etc. within the plant and mainstream fueling
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings
• Cross train on bobtail and transport
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with company accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

What You'll Bring

• Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, and work out of town for an extended amount of time
• Ability to be clean shaven when needed
• May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
