Job summary

Hub Group in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Driver Manager to lead a fleet of 30–35 company drivers. The role focuses on performance, safety, utilization, and retention, with regular reviews and corrective actions as needed.

The DM will leverage Transportation Management Systems to ensure timely data and will work closely with load planners to optimize utilization and delivery reliability. A strong leadership mindset and ability to drive employee engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience ensuring regulatory compliance and driver performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage driver performance, set expectations, conduct reviews and act on corrective actions.
• Ensure safety and regulatory performance; implement corrective actions for drivers below goal.
• Train and mentor drivers on tools and systems (Omnitracs, payroll processes) and manage schedules/payroll.
• Coordinate with load planners to improve driver utilization and productivity.
• Resolve driver issues and monitor deliveries for service reliability.
