Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee a fleet of 30–35 company drivers, ensuring safety, utilization, retention, and strong performance. You will conduct regular performance reviews, implement corrective action, and maintain FMCSA compliance while utilizing Transportation Management Systems.

You will mentor drivers on tools and payroll processes, coordinate with load planning to boost productivity, and manage daily schedules to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills required.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities; change management experience preferred.
• Self-starter with high motivation and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of 30–35 drivers and conduct regular reviews.
• Ensure safety and FMCSA regulatory compliance for all drivers.
• Resolve driver issues and coordinate with load planning for utilization.
• Mentor drivers on tools, payroll processes, and system usage.
• Oversee driver retention and timely completion of planned schedules.
• Monitor deliveries for service failures and communicate with planning teams.
