Job summary

Marten Transport is seeking a Driver Services/Customer Service representative in Georgia to act as the primary link to drivers and support regional operations. You will manage driver performance, handle load information, and ensure customer satisfaction while backing up the Customer Service Manager in the region.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, tracking loads, and maintaining service levels with customers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate to drivers with load information, advances, POs, maintenance coordination, performance counseling, and company news.
• Assist and/or manage a fleet for on-time pickup/delivery, pallet management, out-of-route miles, Hours of Service compliance, and driver availability.
• Schedule pickups and secure loading/unloading appointments; relay issues to regional or CS Manager.
• Record details of all loads booked and provide daily accounting of trucks and drivers.
• Support the Customer Service Manager in the region and help expand knowledge of related roles.
• Maintain service levels with customers as outlined by Sales/Marketing and perform routine customer solicitations.
