Job summary

Quality Carriers, Inc. in Delaware, OH is seeking a Driver Operations Specialist to serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a group of drivers, including company employees and contractors.

The role involves dispatching, load planning and customer service on a 24/7 basis with on-call responsibilities. The position requires strong communication skills, knowledge of DOT/CSA requirements and safety procedures, and the ability to travel for training.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with DOT Requirements, CSA expectations and Safety procedures.
• Ability to travel multiple times per year as needed for training and career development purposes.
• Highly proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary day-to-day contact for an assigned group of drivers (up to 30).
• Manage dispatching, load planning and customer service.
• Ensure drivers" hours of service compliance and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with Operations, Safety and HR on disciplinary actions and training.
• Dispatch drivers and communicate loads using company devices and software (ISAAC, TMW, TotalMail).
• Plan daily schedules and backhauls; maximize loaded miles and driver earnings.
