Job summary

bestlogisticsgroup is seeking a Driver Processor to support hiring and onboarding of company drivers. You will verify VOEs, review documents, coordinate drug screens, and ensure DOT compliance while setting up new drivers in McLeod and ATS. Strong organization and communication are essential.

The role is on-site with standard hours and requires meticulous records management and cross‑functional collaboration to prepare drivers for orientation and start of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in transportation, recruiting, HR, safety, compliance, or onboarding is preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements is preferred.
• Experience with McLeod or similar transportation software is a plus.
• Experience with Double Nickel or similar ATS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process VOE and related employment and safety history requests.
• Review driver applications and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate and track pre-employment drug screens and other steps.
• Ensure drivers meet company and DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Maintain accurate driver records and onboarding documentation.
• Set up new drivers in McLeod and finalize onboarding in ATS.
• Communicate status to Recruiting, HR, Safety, Payroll and Operations.
• Follow up to obtain missing information and resolve issues.
