U.S. Xpress is seeking a Specialist, Onboarding Compliance to ensure drivers meet DOT and company rules. You will contact applicants, verify driving records, and manage background checks to maintain compliant driver files.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Recruiting and Driver Orientation, with in-person meetings and ongoing training to stay aligned with regulatory changes and company goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring all drivers are in compliance with DOT and USX rules and regulations.
• Contact applicants to obtain missing information.
• Verify background information including driving record, employment history, and convictions.
• Review driver files to determine eligibility and potential disqualifiers.
• Work with Recruiting and Driver Orientation to complete evaluation within 3-day orientation.
• Collaborate with teams to harness collective intelligence of the workforce.
• Attend in-person meetings and trainings on developments, goals, and objectives.
