Job summary

RelaDyne is seeking a Home Daily CDL Driver Class A for fuel delivery in the San Antonio area. Local routes keep you close to home with night and weekend options.

This role offers hourly pay with overtime, sign-on bonus options up to $5,000 for eligible drivers, and a quarterly safety bonus. Benefits include paid holidays and vacations, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• At least one year of experience hauling liquid bulk in a tanker or bobtail.
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with DOT, company and customer safety and policies.
• Load and unload products at customer locations professionally and safely.
• Connect/disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves for loading/unloading; fill tanks with hoses and fittings.
• Cross-train on bobtail.
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara).
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.

What You'll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Properly load and unload products at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings
• Cross train on bobtail
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with company's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

What You'll Bring

• Minimum age 23
• Valid class A CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• Have at least one year of experience hauling liquid bulk in a tanker trailer or bobtail
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Ability to work nights, weekends and overtime
• Safe driving record
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Carded drivers
• Fuel Hauling experience
• Some mechanical and electrical aptitude

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
