Job summary

NC Department of Transportation seeks a Program Coordinator I (NS) NC08 to support the Driver License Associates Program. The role uses a data‑driven approach to deploy staff, expand service hours and reduce wait times.

Starting salary is $47,255 with steps to $49,618 after training, and to $51,980 upon graduation to Driver License Examiner after 18 months and satisfactory review. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, customer service experience with diverse groups, knowledge of DMV
