Job summary

VITAL RECORDS CONTROL COMPANIES is seeking a Driver II (DOT) to operate company vehicles and DOT-regulated CMVs on customer service routes, ensuring safe transport, documentation, and compliance.

The role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, DOT certification, and ability to work with scanners; prior driving and warehouse experience is preferred. RTD role involves loading, unloading, and customer interaction in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous route driving, delivery, or transportation experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to support assigned service routes.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
• Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations and service needs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Comply with Hours-of-Service requirements.
• Report accidents, citations, inspections, or license status changes.
• Utilize handheld scanners and inventory systems.
• Meet productivity, timeliness, and accuracy standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and chain-of-custody of materials.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
