Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) is seeking a Driver II (DOT) to operate company vans and DOT-regulated CMVs on customer service routes, ensuring secure transport and strict chain-of-custody. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, document service activities, and coordinate with management for on-time deliveries.

The role requires a valid CDL/driver’s license, DOT medical certificate, and adherence to FMCSA hours-of-service. PIT certification and handheld scanner experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• DOT/commercial vehicle regulations knowledge.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate DOT-regulated CMVs and company vehicles on assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver and pickup materials while maintaining chain-of-custody and confidentiality.
• Utilize handheld scanners and inventory systems.
• Report accidents, incidents, or license status changes promptly.
