Job summary

Evans Network of Companies is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator (HOS Coordinator) to help drivers stay compliant with FMCSA HOS rules. You’ll guide drivers on HOS usage, review logs for violations, and provide timely support to keep operations efficient.

This in-person, on-site role in Schuylkill Haven, PA requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail, with a focus on user-friendly problem solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
• Good time-management and organization skills; able to multitask.
• Dependable and consistently available to work scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to calls and emails from drivers on hours of service (HOS).
• Provide clear instructions on using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Review driver logs for HOS violations and counsel drivers as needed.
• Continuously monitor driver logs to correct errors.
• Enter data for HOS-related files for tracking and records.
• Review reports to ensure compliance with HOS-related systems and services.
• Conduct random audits of driver logs to maintain compliance.
• Counsel drivers for serious infractions and escalate as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of all recordkeeping and file retention.
• Manage inventory of ELD equipment and provide troubleshooting support.
