Job summary

Augment is hiring Driver Helpers in Mt. Vernon, TX to support professional drivers on residential and commercial routes. This is a full-time, outdoor position with a focus on safe, timely collection of waste and recycling materials.

You will lift and load containers, ride along routes, and help operate the lifting mechanism when trained. Candidates should be reliable, capable of early shifts, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and ready to work early morning shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Enjoy outdoor work in all weather.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism to empty bins (when trained).
• Walk quickly between stops and stay physically active.
• Ensure materials are collected safely and professionally.
