Job summary

Augment is hiring Driver Helpers in Athens, TX for full-time outdoor work with the environmental services team. You will assist a professional driver on residential or commercial waste and recycling routes, helping with pickups and ensuring safe, timely collection.

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and communicate effectively with the driver and supervisor. Weekly pay and a team-focused environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and ready to start early morning shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Experience in general labor is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly stop to stop on a physically active route.
• Ensure materials are collected safely and communicate route issues to the driver or supervisor.
