Job summary

Augment in Texarkana, TX is hiring Driver Helpers to support professional drivers on residential or commercial waste and recycling routes. This full-time position keeps you active outdoors and offers stable, weekly pay.

You will help with pickups, lift containers, operate the lift mechanism when trained, and move quickly between stops. PPE is provided, and growth opportunities exist in the waste and recycling services.

Qualifications

• Reliable and able to start early morning shifts.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stay on your feet.
• Enjoys working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop—this is a physically active role.
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and communicate route issues to the driver or supervisor.
