Job summary

Watchman Services Inc in Queens is seeking a Driver Helper to support deliveries and assist the lead driver. Responsibilities include unloading, adhering to DOT rules, and providing excellent customer service to customers during delivery.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 150 lbs, and communicate effectively in English. Weekend availability and varying shifts are expected. This employer is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
• 1-2 years of delivery/loading/unloading experience preferred.

SCHEDULES

• Dispatch times: 2am-5am
• Shift: 10-12hours per day, approximately
• Stops per route: 10-5 depending on location and route
• Weekends required

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• 1-2 years of experience making deliveries, loading or unloading items from a truck or in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ablility to pass our pre-employment process which includes a phone screen, face to face interview, skills assessments, drug testing and criminal background check.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays and sometimes extended hours on your scheduled days.
• No Driving experience required
