Job summary

Bartlett Dairy inc. in New York/New Jersey seeks a CDL driver to deliver dairy products on a 26-foot straight truck. This is a full-time role with early starts, weekends, and holiday work. Training will be conducted at our Newark, NJ location, with routes across NY, NJ, and CT and 20–25 stops per run.

You must have at least six months of truck experience, valid CDL Class A or B, and a DOT medical certificate. Strong customer service required.

Qualifications

• At least six months of commercial truck-driving experience within the past three years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (interstate).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 150 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company straight truck along assigned delivery routes throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
• Deliver from 20 to 25 stops on a route.
• Deliver products according to route schedules and delivery windows.
• Unload merchandise using hand trucks.
• Comply with DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

CDL B ROUTE DELIVERY DRIVERS!

POSITION SUMMARY: This delivery role involves safely operating a 26-foot straight truck to deliver and unload a variety of dairy products to customers. The position requires flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, with varying early morning start times, to ensure customer needs are met. Must be willing to commute to our Newark, NJ location for training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a company straight truck along an assigned delivery routes throughout New York, New Jersey, and Conneticut
• Deliver from 20 to 25 stops on a route
• Deliver products according to assigned route schedules and delivery time windows
• Unload merchandise using hand trucks.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety procedures
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs during deliveries
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move products weighing approximately 60-80 pounds

REQUIREMENTS

• At least six months of commercial truck-driving experience within the past three years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with a "clean" driving record
• Previous experience operating commercial trucks.
• Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Ability to complete the company’s pre-employment process, which may include in-person interview, skills assessments, drug testing, employment verification and background check
• Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
