Job summary

Farmland Fresh Dairies is seeking CDL route delivery drivers to operate a 26-foot straight truck and unload dairy products to customers on routes across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

The role requires 6+ months of commercial truck driving, a valid Class A or B CDL, and a clean driving record. Training may occur at Newark, NJ; full-time positions include benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Six months of commercial truck-driving experience within the past three years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with a "clean" driving record.
• Possess and present a valid non-expired interstate DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Pre-employment process may include interview, skills assessments, drug testing and background check.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and push/pull 150lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company straight truck along an assigned delivery route within New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
• Deliver from 20 to 25 stops on a route.
• Deliver products according to scheduled delivery times and windows.
• Unload merchandise using hand trucks.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT rules.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

CDL B ROUTE DELIVERY DRIVERS!

POSITION SUMMARY:

This delivery role involves safely operating a 26-foot straight truck to deliver and unload a variety of dairy products to customers. The position requires flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, with varying early morning start times, to ensure customer needs are met. Must be willing to commute to our Newark, NJ location for trainnig.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate a company straight truck along an assigned delivery routes throughout New York, New Jersey, and Conneticut


• Deliver from 20 to 25 stops on a route


• Deliver products according to assigned route schedules and delivery time windows


• Unload merchandise using hand trucks.


• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety procedures


• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures


• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs during deliveries


• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move products weighing approximately 60-80 pounds

Position Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least six months of commercial truck-driving experience within the past three years


• Must be at least 21 years old


• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with a "clean" driving record


• Previous experience operating commercial trucks.


• Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.


• Ability to complete the company’s pre-employment process, which may include in-person interview, skills assessments, drug testing, employment verification andbackground check


• Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs


• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
