Job summary

Sysco Eastern Maryland, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to check in drivers after routes, count products, and maintain accurate records of returned items and their values. You will inspect returns, determine restocking or credit needs, and ensure proper coding on invoices to streamline processing.

Responsibilities include verifying invoices, noting exceptions, and coordinating with Credit Services and Food Safety to maintain compliance and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year pallet jack and/or forklift experience.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Check-in drivers on routes, verify returns, and account for pallets.
• Identify missed collections and notify Credit Services.
• Ensure food safety protocols on returns and coordinate with Food Safety personnel.
• Note delivery exceptions on invoices and/or delivery exception reports.
• Inspect returned products for restocking or credit eligibility.
• Correctly code damage or reasons on invoices to expedite processing.
• Separate and stage returns, count items for accuracy.
• Document and list overages to re-enter stock in inventory.
