Job summary

SYSCO in Colorado is seeking a Warehouse Return Auditor to check in drivers, count returned products, and maintain records of quantity, type and value. You will inspect returns for restocking or credits and ensure all documentation is complete.

Responsibilities include validating invoices, ensuring safety protocols, noting delivery exceptions, and coordinating with Credit Services and Food Safety to resolve issues. Strong math and reporting skills are essential, with solid English communication.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year of pallet jack and/or forklift experience.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Check-in drivers who have completed their routes by verifying product returned and authorizations.
• Identify missed collections and notify Credit Services.
• Ensure food safety protocols were followed on the return and coordinate with Food Safety personnel.
• Assure all delivery exceptions are noted on the invoice and/or delivery exception report.
• Inspect returned products to determine restocking appropriateness or deciding if the customer warrants the credit.
• Code damaged or inferior products with the appropriate damage code and write it on the damaged case.
• Separate and stage for return processing all products and count returned items for inventory accuracy.
• List overage on the return sheet to re-enter product into the inventory system.
