Job summary

US1158 FreshPoint Central California, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented finance position to check in drivers after routes, count and record returned material, and maintain accurate quantity, type, and value logs for processed items.

The role includes inspecting returns for restocking or credit eligibility and ensuring proper documentation on invoices and reports. Strong MS Office/AS400 experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in drivers who have completed their routes by verifying returned products and signed invoices.
• Identify missed collections and notify Credit Services.
• Ensure food safety protocols were followed on returns and coordinate with Food Safety personnel.
• Note all delivery exceptions on invoices or delivery exception reports.
• Inspect returned products to determine restocking eligibility or whether the customer warrants credit.
• Assign appropriate reason codes on invoices to facilitate efficient processing and document damages.
• Count and separate returned items to ensure quantities match the returns and invoices.
