Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a driver to operate tractor-trailer units and support non-driving tasks such as forklift and dock work. The role requires compliance with DOT rules, attention to safety, and careful handling of freight in varied conditions.

Responsibilities include trailer hookups, securing cargo, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 pounds, work well independently or as part of a team, and adapt to flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL or CLP.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety rules.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for weights and measures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies.

• Communicate with dispatch and customers; assist with additional duties.
• Follow laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units safely, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies
• Handle freight using motorized/manual equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Secure freight, repair damaged cargo, and complete documentation
• Manage freight charges and ensure compliance with hazard material regulations
• Communicate with dispatch and customers, assist with additional duties as needed
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications & Skills

• Class A CDL or CLP, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, basic math, and communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, perform trailer hookups, and work independently or in a team

Working Conditions

Drive in varied weather, exposure to noise, dust, diesel fumes, and hazardous materials. Flexibility in hours is required.
