Coastal Elite Pro in Hermiston, OR is seeking a professional truck driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks, delivering to service centers and turn-points. You will perform safety inspections, log trips, and follow dispatch instructions while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

This role requires a Class A CDL (or permit), a clean MVR, DOT knowledge, and strong communication.

Formación

• Must hold Class A CDL or commercial learning permit.

Position Overview

This role involves operating tractor-trailer combinations to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations. It includes developing driving skills through education and may involve non-driving duties such as forklift operation and dock work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks
• Perform safety inspections before and after trips
• Hook/unhook trailers and maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate effectively
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations and company policies
• Provide customer service and perform freight handling using motorized and manual equipment
• Perform tire chaining and other duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Class A CDL or commercial learning permit
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and basic math skills
• Effective communication skills

Working Conditions:

Drive long distances in various weather conditions, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, diesel fumes, and potentially hazardous materials. Flexibility in hours and overnight stays may be required.
