Essential Functions

Operate various truck types, conduct safety inspections, hook/unhook trailers, maintain accurate logs, complete documentation, communicate with dispatch, and ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations. Provide customer service and perform freight handling using motorized/manual equipment as needed, including chaining tires and operating forklifts. Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

Require a Class A CDL or CLP, a clean Motor Vehicle Record, and compliance with DOT regulations. Must have basic math, communication skills, physical ability to lift approximately 100 pounds, and the capacity to sit, bend, and climb in/out of trucks. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in teams.

Working Conditions

Long-distance driving in various weather conditions, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, diesel fumes, and hazardous materials. Hours and overnight stays may vary based on operational needs.
