Qualifications

Position Overview

This role focuses on developing proficiency in operating tractor-trailer combinations through education and skills training. Responsibilities include both driving and non-driving duties such as forklift operation and dock work.

Essential Functions

Operate various trucks, perform safety inspections, hook and unhook trailers, handle freight with motorized/manual equipment, secure freight, and verify documentation. Communicate with dispatch and customers, provide customer service, and perform related tasks such as tire chaining and compliance with regulations.
