AAR Corp. is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Driver II for the San Antonio site. This position focuses on flight line support and some maintenance shop tasks to ensure equipment readiness and safe operations.

You will deliver and pick up GSE, operate the mobile fuel truck on maintenance pads, and assist maintenance crews. A valid work ethic, safety practices, and clear communication are essential for success in this role.

Description:

Responsible for flight line support, and some maintenance shop support. Primary function is to support the flight ramp by delivering and picking up ground support equipment as required. Operating the mobile fuel truck to service equipment on the maintenance pads, no CDL required.

What you will be responsible for:

• Performs daily flight line driving and servicing functions on simple components
• Pick up and delivery of equipment
• Operating forklifts, aircraft tugs, and ground support equipment
• Sets up and operates GSE
• Fuels GSE on the flight line as required
• Communicates orally and written with employees, supervisors and others
• Performs assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions
• Maintains documentation and time accounting systems associated with repairs (Track labor hours per job)
• Complies with all applicable technical orders, equipment manuals
• Maintains immediate work area, facilities, and vehicles using good housekeeping and safety practices
• Assists other mechanics
• Performs other duties as required
