Job summary

AAR Corp. Ground Support Equipment Driver II on 2nd shift supports the flight line by delivering and picking up GSE and operating the mobile fuel truck. No CDL is required. The role also involves maintenance shop support and communication with team members to ensure safe, efficient ramp operations.

Candidates will perform daily flight line driving, equipment handling, and fueling duties, while keeping accurate labor and work documentation and maintaining a clean, safe work area on the ramp.

Qualifications

• Daily flight line driving and servicing on simple components.
• Pickup and delivery of equipment.
• Operates forklifts, aircraft tugs, and ground support equipment.
• Fuels GSE on the flight line; no CDL required.
• Maintains documentation of repairs and hours per job.

Ground Support Equipment Driver II - 2nd SHIFT-

Responsible for flight line support, and some maintenance shop support. Primary function is to support the flight ramp by delivering and picking up ground support equipment as required. Operating the mobile fuel truck to service equipment on the maintenance pads, no CDL required.

• Pick up and delivery of equipment
• Operating forklifts, aircraft tugs, and ground support equipment
• Sets up and operates GSE
• Fuels GSE on the flight line as required
• Communicates orally and written with employees, supervisors and others
• Performs assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions
• Maintains documentation and time accounting systems associated with repairs (Track labor hours per job)
• Complies with all applicable technical orders, equipment manuals
• Maintains immediate work area, facilities, and vehicles using good housekeeping and safety practices
• Assists other mechanics
• Performs other duties as required
