Job summary

AerSale, Inc. is seeking a Goodyear, AZ-based GSE Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair ground support equipment in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include documentation, compliance with security requirements, and professional communication with Ramp management and customers. Minimum 2–3 years in mechanical GSE maintenance and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in mechanical/diesel/gas ground support equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on all ground support equipment per schedules.
• Learn troubleshooting and diagnostic assessment of GSE as required.
• Perform repairs to maintain all ground support equipment and keep it in serviceable condition.
• Document maintenance/repair activities per carrier, airport authority, and SP requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe GSE shop and report deficiencies to management.
• Communicate with Ramp management, customers and staff in a professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and drive all types of equipment – motorized and non-motorized
• Perform and show competence in preventive maintenance per established schedules on all ground support equipment
• Learn trouble-shooting and diagnostic assessment of ground support equipment as required
• Learn repairs and procedures to maintain all ground support equipment.
• Remove malfunctioning ground support equipment from service and ensure GSE is not returned to service until malfunction has been properly diagnosed and repaired
• Own and demonstrate proper use of tools, diagnostic equipment, etc. required for equipment maintenance and repair
• Complete all maintenance/repair documentation consistent with carrier, station, airport authority, municipal, state, federal and SP requirements
• Comply with all federal, provincial, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
• Will retain a motor vehicle driver's license for both air side / non airside in good standing at all times
• Follow all safety guidelines set out by OSHA EPA FAA and management
• Keep GSE shop and its equipment clean and serviceable at all times, report any and all deficiencies to management
• Will communicate with Ramp management, customers and staff in a professional manner when needed

Work Environments

• Work is normally performed in a typical warehouse work environment

Education And Experience

• 2-3 years’ experience in mechanical/diesel/gas ground support equipment maintenance

• Good oral and verbal communication skills

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as walk extended distances
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and/service stands
• Must have normal corrected hearing and vision
• Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles. The candidates driving record will be examined for violations; results of which could render candidate ineligible for position.
