Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is expanding its Modesto/Tracy area team. This role involves driving our branded trucks, presenting on-site estimates, and delivering exceptional junk-removal service.

Candidates should be comfortable meeting customers, lifting 75 lbs+, and working full days in an active field role with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age for employment eligibility.
• Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record for 3+ years.
• Able to lift and load 75 lbs+ repeatedly.
• Comfortable meeting customers and communicating service value.
• Able to drive for extended periods (45+ minutes segments).
• Full-day availability (6–9 hours on average) and open schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive training to safely operate Isuzu NPR/NQR/NRR trucks.
• Present estimates to customers with a partner.
• Safely operate company trucks.
• Sort donatable, recyclable, and diversion items.
• Act as a brand advocate through guerrilla and mobile marketing in trucks.
• Maintain safety in navigation, driving, and loading/unloading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving: Get trained in-house to safely drive Isuzu NPR/NQR/NRR trucks.
• Sales: Present estimates to customers throughout the day with a partner
• Truck Operations: Safely operate the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Trucks.
• Junk Diversion:Sort donatable items, recyclables, and items for diversion.
• Marketing: Be a brand advocate through Guerilla and Mobile Marketing in our trucks.
• Safety: Commit to the safe and professional navigation, driving, and efficient loading & unloading.

Key Requirements:

• 21+ years of age (insurance purposes).
• Valid CA driver's license & clean driving record for the past 3+ years.
• Physically capable of lifting and loading 75lbs+ repeatedly.
• Comfortable meeting customers, communicating the value of our services.
• Must be able to drive for over 45 minutes at a time.
• Able to work full days (6-9 hours per day on average).
• Must have open availability to be considered.
• Positive attitude & professional appearance.
• Have a working cell phone with multiple app capabilities.
