Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking ambitious, customer-focused individuals for Driver / Customer Service roles in California. You’ll operate a company truck, greet customers, assess items to remove, and explain the value of our services.

This full-time or part-time position offers paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for sales development. You’ll use your people skills and reliability to grow with a friendly team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• A valid California driver’s license.
• Clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy items.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company truck and visit scheduled service appointments.
• Greet customers and assess items to remove.
• Prepare estimates and explain the value of our services.
• Use sales and communication skills to earn customers' business.
• Load and transport furniture and other belongings.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting 75+ pounds.
• Sort reusable and recyclable materials when possible.
• Coordinate with the operations team to manage daily workload.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Your work will involve:

• Operating a company truck while traveling to scheduled service appointments
• Greeting customers and assessing the items they want removed
• Preparing estimates and explaining the value of our services
• Using sales and communication skills to earn customers' business
• Loading and transporting furniture, appliances, and other unwanted belongings
• Performing repeated physical tasks, including lifting 75+ pounds
• Separating reusable and recyclable materials whenever possible
• Coordinating with the operations team to manage your daily workload
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment

To qualify, you must have:

• Minimum age of 21
• A current California driver's license
• A clean driving record forthe last three years
• Physical ability to safely lift and transport heavy items throughout the workday
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude
• Availability to work at least one weekend day each week
• A smartphone that supports required work applications
