Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring Truck Team Members/Customer Service Representatives in Charlotte, NC. The role involves driving our junk trucks, loading items, and delivering excellent customer service with sales responsibilities. CDL is not required and there is a focus on growth and bonuses.

Expect a 4-day work week with pay ranging $20–28 per hour plus tips, bonuses, and daily cash tips. Training is paid, and opportunities for advancement and team events are offered.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age for commercial insurance underwriting
• Valid NON-PROVISIONAL driver’s license (No CDL Required!)
• Clean driving history for 3 years (no points, suspensions, or violations)
• Great attitude, reliability, and goal-driven mindset
• Comfortable lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds repeatedly

Responsibilities

• DRIVING: You will drive our Isuzu NPR 17-20 ft 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck to customer locations
• LIFTING & LOADING: remove unwanted items from customer properties into the truck
• CUSTOMER SERVICE: provide an excellent customer experience with a smile
• SALES & NEGOTIATION: quote removal services; training provided and pricing sheets shown
• RECYCLING & DONATION: support environmentally responsible disposal and recycling
• TIME MANAGEMENT: manage your day like you are running your own business

A Typical Day:

• DRIVING: You will be responsible for driving our Isuzu NPR 17-20 ft 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck to customer locations


• LIFTING & LOADING: remove unwanted items from our customer's property into our truck


• CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide the ultimate customer experience, always resulting in a smile.


• SALES & NEGOTIATION: Assess and quote customers on the removal of their unwanted items (We provide in-depth training) and pricing sheets the customer can view to easily understand our rate.


• RECYCLING & DONATION: Did you know that 1-800-GOT-JUNK? aims to be as environmentally responsible as possible, while being sure to follow local regulations. We do our best to keep items out of landfills by donating the donateables and recycling the recyclables as much as we can.


• TIME MANAGEMENT: Our business model aids in building your time-management skills, you manage your day like you are running your own business!

What you bring to the company:

• To qualify for commercial insurance underwriting, drivers must be 21+ years of age
