Responsibilities

Position requires a high commitment to service excellence.**Duties & Responsibilities****Essential Duties & Responsibilities*** Pick up and return of patients as per schedule.* Stays in contact with the office to report any change in schedule including any patient cancellations.* Assist patients to get in and out of the vehicle.* Assist patients with wheelchair.* Ensures the safety of all passengers.* Works flexible shifts as work dictates.* Deliveries, Holter monitors, and miscellaneous pick-ups as needed.* Transport patient to hospital or specialist office.* Checks and maintains van daily and ensures that it is mechanically safe and clean.* Report any incident or accidents to the supervisor and management immediately.* Performs other duties as assigned.* Required to wear company uniform.* Utilize phone as routing system.* Any other duties as assigned by manager**Supervisory Responsibilities*** No supervisory responsibilities.**Education & Experience*** High School diploma or equivalent* Up to 1 year driving experience required; patient transportation preferred* Bi-lingual English/Spanish Preferred* Clean driving record* Knowledge of local streets and addresses* Customer service skills**Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies*** Valid Drivers license* Excellent customer service and communication skills.* Ability to transport members in a safe, timely and efficient manner.* Ability to work flexible schedule and location.* Must be able to comply with company policies and procedures.* Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.* Must have basic mechanical skills i.e. ability to check and fully inspect their vehicles daily.**Job Requirements****Physical Requirements**Ability to reach, lift, carry and move objects.
