Sonic Drive-In in Texas is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and oversee restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.

You will train and coach team members, manage staffing and shift duties, perform opening and closing tasks, handle guest and employee issues, monitor costs, enforce company policies, and maintain records while adhering to health and safety laws.

Qualifications

• At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws, etc.).
• Knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations.
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage drive-in operations during shift to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Train, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shift.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest issues/concerns and employee issues/concerns during shift.
• Monitor and manage costs (food, labor, paper, inventory) during shift to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Comply with company policies and operational standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform all station duties to meet operational standards and sanitation requirements.
