Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Kansas is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, train and supervise crew, and ensure clean, safe and efficient service. You will direct staff, manage schedules, inventory, payroll records, and guest satisfaction while driving sales performance.

The role requires at least two years of restaurant management experience, strong leadership, knowledge of labor laws, and basic accounting skills.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with ability to train staff.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Familiarity with federal and state labor laws, health and sanitation regulations.
• Basic accounting and computer skills for payroll and inventory.
• Ability to multi-task and resolve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs shift operations to meet service and quality standards.
• Prepares staff schedules and manages staffing levels.
• Monitors inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Keeps records for payroll and employment-related documentation.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan to drive sales.
