Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience in Baker, LA. You will train and supervise crew, manage shifts, schedule staff, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

You will open/close the restaurant, prepare reports, develop action plans to improve sales trends, and implement local marketing initiatives to drive guest traffic. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Willing to work a minimum 5 day workweek with irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and health/sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and coach Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign drive-in restaurant employees to meet service standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant; prepare staff work schedules.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost control procedures.
• Complete payroll records and maintain employment-related records.
• Ensure customer service focus and guest satisfaction at all times.
• Interview and hire staff to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Develop and implement marketing plans and action steps to improve trends.
