Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Nelsonville, OH is seeking a General Manager to lead operations and drive guest satisfaction. You will recruit, train, coach staff, manage scheduling, and ensure food safety and quality standards.

You will oversee all drive-in activities, control labor and inventory, develop local marketing plans, and maintain records and vendor relations. The role requires at least three years of restaurant management and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring and managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate the drive-in’s staff.
• Manage drive-in employees’ compensation levels per company guidelines.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of drive-in operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest issues/concerns and employee issues/concerns.
• Plan, forecast, and adjust food, labor, inventory for cost-control and quality.
• Lead team meetings to align on standards and service.
• Maintain drive-in records and prepare operational reports.
• Develop and manage local marketing and business performance plans.
• Ensure maintenance of drive-in and equipment; supervise vendors.
