Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead and develop a team of crew and management in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will supervise daily operations, ensure clean, safe service, and drive guest satisfaction through effective training and coaching.

The role requires managing staffing, scheduling, inventory, payroll records, and adherence to policies while delivering strong financial performance and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health/sanitation regulations.
• Basic accounting and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions, multitask, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs drive-in employees to meet operational standards.
• Open/close restaurant and prepare staff schedules.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost controls.
• Maintain payroll and employment records.
