Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Altus, Arkansas is seeking a General Manager to lead and manage our drive-in’s operations and staff. The role requires robust leadership, hands-on supervision, and a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing the team, managing food and labor costs, opening/closing duties, handling guest and employee concerns, maintaining records, and coordinating local marketing efforts. Exempt, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in restaurant management (QSR preferred).
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and supervising staff.
• Solid knowledge of labor laws, health and safety regulations, and wage guidelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage drive-in operations and staff to deliver an optimal guest experience.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate assistants and crew.
• Plan and control food, labor, and inventory to maximize cost efficiency.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures and store cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Address guest concerns promptly and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain records and prepare operational reports.
• Coordinate local marketing initiatives and drive business performance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
