Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Ruston, Louisiana to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations. You will train and coach team members, direct shifts, ensure food quality, safety and guest satisfaction, and help manage inventory and administrative tasks.

The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and prior restaurant management experience in QSR or retail. You’ll uphold Sonic standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry-level retail management experience.
• Ability to train, coach and supervise Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees as needed to ensure food service meets standards.
• Monitors and adjusts staffing levels, inventory and food cost control.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures guest satisfaction.
