Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Ruston, Louisiana is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations. You will help train and support team members to ensure high-quality food, a clean and safe environment, and an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires flexibility to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, with prior restaurant management experience in a fast‑food or retail setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Trains and supports other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet operational standards.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory, and food cost levels; conducts weekly inventory.
• Assists with administrative duties and documentation.
• Maintains a customer service mindset and ensures guests are served well at all times.
• Responds to guest requests and resolves complaints with supervision.
