The Town of Apex is seeking a Water Quality Supervisor who will direct staff in providing safe drinking water that meets federal and state guidelines. The role acts as the operating in responsible charge and primary regulatory contact for drinking water and cross-connection issues town-wide.

The incumbent plans, organizes and supervises state-m mandated monitoring and sampling plans, coordinates sampling, and responds to citizen questions and emergencies while reporting to the Utility Operations

Responsibilities

• Direct water quality technicians and supervisors to ensure safe drinking water is produced and delivered.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with the Safe Water Drinking Act and state regulations.
