Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operations Manager to provide day-to-day leadership, technical guidance, and regulatory oversight for water and wastewater operations.

You will supervise staff across multiple client facilities, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and ensure compliant, safe operations. The role requires strong knowledge of treatment processes, regulatory requirements, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Current high-level water and/or wastewater operator certification preferred.
• Engineer license or similar credentials may be considered depending on role.
• Experience as operator-in-responsible-charge or supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule water/wastewater staff across multiple client sites.
• Oversee sampling, maintenance, and emergency response activities.
• Travel to client facilities to review treatment plants and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and regulators for compliance and reporting.
• Support startup, commissioning, and training activities.
• Lead safety meetings and coach staff on operational best practices.
