Job summary

The Town of North Attleborough is seeking a Water Quality Supervisor – Grade 10 for the Water Department. This full-time 38-hour-per-week role oversees daily operations of the Water Division to ensure reliable drinking water and regulatory compliance.

A minimum of five years in water operations, strong supervisory skills, and licensure (T-3 and D-3) are required. A valid driver’s license is also necessary. Salary ranges from $1,483.00 to $2,052.90.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in water industry field operations.
• Strong supervisory ability and proven experience with budget preparation and administration.
• Thorough familiarity with water supply, treatment, and distribution system operations.
• Massachusetts Water Treatment Operator License, T-3, and Water Distribution License, D-3.
• Valid vehicle operator’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises daily operations and maintenance activities of the Water Division.
• Ensures compliance with the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and relevant regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
• Prepares and administers the budget effectively.
