Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC in Hyannis, MA is seeking an experienced Water Facility Operator to manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Drinking Water facility, infrastructure, equipment, buildings and grounds.

You will perform O&M activities, routine PMs, conduct water sampling, ensure safety, and maintain records. Weekend/on-call work and coordination with contractors are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience in the drinking water industry or related fields.
• Laboratory or utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Drinking Water facility and related infrastructure and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on infrastructure and systems.
• Conduct drinking water sampling and laboratory monitoring.
• Maintain accurate operation and maintenance records.
• Follow safety and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as scheduled.
• Assist in EH&S efforts and corrective actions.
• Operate project vehicles and related equipment.
• Collaborate with local contractors as needed.
