Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks a dedicated operator to maintain and operate the Orleans Water Infrastructure, including an SBR treatment facility and related systems. You will perform daily tasks, collect samples, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic environment.

You will use CMMS, work with gauges/meters, and support EH&S goals while occasionally rotating weekends and on-call shifts. A high school diploma and basic technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, math, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read and record data from meters and gauges.
• Familiarity with Windows/Office and CMMS software.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand and execute written and oral instructions; team-oriented safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities and related infrastructure.
• Interpret and follow written/verbal work orders; perform basic math calculations.
• Learn and use CMMS to schedule and complete work orders and record data.
• Collect water quality samples, test, and maintain records; ensure safety and compliance.
• Work weekends, holidays, and be on-call on a rotating schedule; respond to emergencies.
