Veolia NA in Massachusetts is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator to participate in the operation, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will monitor equipment, adjust chemical treatments, collect samples, and keep detailed logs to support compliant plant operations.

This position emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and teamwork across shifts, with competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Some water or wastewater experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with team, management, clients, and vendors.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in maintenance and operations.
• Ability to operate electric motors, pumps, valves, and related equipment.

Mansioni

• Monitor and operate wastewater treatment plant equipment and adjust chemical treatment as required.
• Collect samples, run tests, maintain logs, and enter data into the computer.
• Maintain accurate plant records and reports and support regulatory inspections.
• Respond to accidental releases and perform confined space entries as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and ensure equipment is running reliably.
