HDR is seeking a seasoned Drinking Water Market Sector Business Development Director to lead strategic growth across HDR geographies. This role reports to Market Sector Development leadership and collaborates with Water Business Group leadership, client managers, and practice groups.

In this position you will drive top-line growth, coordinate international market initiatives, and lead pursuits with a focus on strategic differentiation and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20+ years of experience in drinking water planning, engineering design, client development, and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering required, professional registration preferred.
• Experience in development of strategic positioning and client relationships is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of HDR Drinking Water sector strategies across geographies.
• Serve as Pursuit Leader on select drinking water opportunities, guiding capture and proposals.
• Support and collaborate with market sectors, regions, and leadership to grow HDR’s water services.
• Mentor staff and drive technical excellence within the Drinking Water Market Sector.
• Identify investments and opportunities to maintain HDR’s leadership in the industry.
